I can’t lie, this tiny bathroom remodel might literally be the marathon of remodels in the history of House Seven Design. There were so many factors involved that made it take longer than expected but I guess the general rule is, ALL GOOD THINGS TAKE TIME and I’m so happy with how this space turned out.
The bathroom is very small and originally only had a one sink vanity. Our plan is to stay in this house forever so we were going to have to find a way to make room for a double vanity. The three girls share this hallway bathroom so the single vanity wasn’t cutting it. We had about 52″in length and 18″ in depth on the wall opposite the tub and that was the only place to put the new double vanity so Brian created a custom pine vanity to accommodate the vessel sinks and still leave enough counter space on the sides and the middle for items like soap and the girls accessories.
One of my favorite features in the bathroom are our new wall mount faucets by Delta Faucet. They are from the Trinsic line and so pretty in the Champagne Bronze finish. They were exactly what we needed to save on the little bit of space we were working with in here. The lighting from Lucent Light Shop accents the Trinsic line perfectly.
We used the same Delta Faucet Trinsic line for the bath accessories and the shower and tub faucet. I love the simplicity of the design, it fits perfect in our minimalistic design. Brian built the double vanity to have a storage shelf below that holds all of the towels and baskets for bathroom necessities that the girls would need.
We added vertical shiplap to the wall behind the vanity for some texture and the mirrors are a simple black metal. I’m sure I will have more to add to this space as we live with it for a little while but so far its working great!
