I think I’ve had this master bath remodel of ours on the brain for what feels like a year. I’ve been planning this remodel since we moved in to our home 2.5 years ago and finally we get to make all my master bathroom dreams come true.
We live in Indianapolis and when it came time to make the plumbing selections I knew I had to go to the Ferguson showroom because in my experience, it’s the best place to find plumbing that you can’t find anywhere else in this city.
It was actually when I got there, that I realized, I not only could get all our plumbing supplies there, like the tub, toilet, faucets, etc. but I could also source all of our bath lighting from Ferguson. One stop shop and all of the selections they have to choose from are top of the line. This isn’t your big box store kind of goods but rather high end, quality brands with pricing that won’t break the bank.
Now lets be clear, the brands you will find at the Ferguson showrooms are of the highest quality in the industry and the pricing is very competitive. I feel like I have to say this because I think that you always have to consider that there will be less expensive “look alike” products out there but they lack the quality and durably you really should look for when it comes to your plumbing needs. Anything in my home that has water constantly running through it needs to be of the highest quality. I’m not messing around with water!
In one trip to the Ferguson showroom in Carmel, I was able to source all my plumbing and lighting for the bathroom.
I chose Fireclay tile for the shower walls and main flooring. I also selected a carrara marble top for our vanity which I also found at Ferguson. They carry all of the Signature Hardware line and so I had a lot of choices for the vanity. I knew I wanted a black painted vanity with lots of storage. I also wanted the storage to be inclosed. No matter how much I love open shelving, I need everything in my bathroom behind closed doors or drawers.
Did you know Ferguson carries the Visual Comfort brand and all of their lighting? This gave me so many options for sconces and a pendent for over the tub. I selected Thomas O’brian wall sconces in black and brass and a brass pendent from the Kelly Wearstler line.
It’s rare for me to have a hard time narrowing down my selections because usually I’m not able to find enough that I really like here locally but Ferguson seriously delivered! It was also really nice to be able to see things in person.
The plumbing fixtures that I selected are from the ROHL brand and they are the coolest! Matte Black and very industrial. The Campo line was created as a nod to the original conduits of Piazza del Campo in Sienna, Italy. I feel so fancy to have these italian made fixtures in my home.
Now that you’ve seen all the selections, I can’t wait to reveal all of the work we have accomplished on the bathroom which will be coming to the blog soon!
